Steven Tyler, frontman of Aerosmith, organized a gala party with the production company Live Nation to raise funds for Janie's Fund , his organization that works with girls who are victims of sexual abuse.

The event took place last Sunday, the 28th, at RED Studios in Hollywood and featured a live auction where all the money raised was donated to the institution, which has a partnership with the NGO Youth Villages.

During the party, the awards ceremony was being broadcast while other performances took place, such as Tyler doing a cover of Janis Joplin's "Piece Of My Heart" and singing some Aerosmith songs like "Sweet Emotion," "Dream On," and "Walk This Way.".

The performances featured a special appearance by drummer Joey Kramer and a cameo by Nuno Bettencourt, who played "More Than Words" from his band Extreme.

"I'm doing this because I know what happens to a girl who is sexually assaulted at 14 and sent to the streets at 15 to sell crack ," he says.
