The piano that Steven Tyler of Aerosmith used in "Dream On" was sold for $130,000 (approximately R$700,000) at auction.

The person won the piano on the second day of Music Icons , an auction held by Julien's Auctions in partnership with the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square, New York. The auction house is famous and iconic, having John Lennon guitar for over R$14 million .

The event not only auctioned off Steven's piano, but also various other instruments used by great musicians, as well as personal items.

The items ranged from guitars used by Eddie Van Halen and Eric Clapton , to a Patek Philippe Aquanaut that belonged to Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac , which sold for $37,750 (approximately R$213,660).

Other items of interest, such as the handwritten lyrics to Oasis by Noel Gallagher and an abstract painting signed by Frank Sinatra, were also highlights of the event.
