Steven Tyler initiates legal action against Donald Trump for use of Dream On

Tyler sent a court summons

Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler has filed a lawsuit against the Republican presidential candidate for using the song " Dream On" at rallies and in campaign ads. According to The Hollywood Reporter, this was the second time Tyler has asked the candidate to stop using the song.

The legal notice sent to Trump's team argues: "The organization 'Trump for President' does not have our client's permission to use 'Dream On' or any of his songs in connection with the campaign, as it gives the false impression that he is connected to or supports Mr. Trump's candidacy."

In the world of rock, Donald Trump has already been publicly condemned by Gene Simmons (Kiss), Corey Taylor (Slipknot), and Randy Blythe (Lamb of God), but he has also received support from Zoltan Bathory of Five Finger Death Punch and permission from Dee Snider to use " We're Not Gonna Take It" .
