Former Guns N' Roses drummer posted a video on his social media after the accident

Steven Adler, former drummer for Guns N' Roses , shocked fans when he was hospitalized after stabbing himself in the stomach.

When the news broke, the musician's manager told the public that he had not attempted suicide and that it was simply an accident. Now, Adler has spoken out in a video saying that it was all just a "media mix-up," since many people reported a suicide attempt.

“I’m so sorry for all the media hype that’s going on. I’m alive and well. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone on July 12th at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas and on July 13th at the biker event in Orgen, which is going to be insane. And I love everyone, I can’t wait to see and hug everyone. Thank you so much for your love and support.”

At the end of the video, where he appears alongside artist Tommy Hollenstein , Adler makes a point of assuring viewers that none of his shows have been cancelled.
