Adler's Appetite is a project by former Guns N' Roses drummer, Steven Adler

Former Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler has recruited singer Constantine Maroulis, a contestant on American Idol in 2005 and in the musical Rock of Ages, to lead the Adler's Appetite project. The debut will be on May 10th in the United States, before the band embarks on 10 shows in Australia, appearances at European festivals, and another longer tour.

“Of course Guns N’ Roses was the soundtrack of my youth ,” Maroulis told Billboard. “Playing with Steven is a career highlight. He’s a lovely guy, and playing on Appetite [For Destruction] is unparalleled; that sound he made defined an entire generation.”

Adler said of the singer: “Let me just say one thing… this guy, Constantine, who I call Casanova… he came to New York and I was like, ‘Oh my God, I have this great Rock N’ Roll singer! I’m finally working with a real star again, I call him ‘Casanova’ because he’s so sexy. He dresses so well. I wish I was his size so I could double my wardrobe!’”

Adler added: “Guns N' Roses is the biggest rock band in the world right now, and since the guys don't want me to play with them and I love those songs and I'm very proud of them…now I finally have a singer who can compete with young Axl Rose, Axl is Axl and Casanova is Casanova…That's all I want.”
