Steve Perry , former lead singer of Journey The Season 3 on November 8th via Dark Horse Records. The album follows his 2021 Christmas album, The Season .
The new album includes six new songs, including “Jingle Bell Rock” and “Let It Snow,” as well as a duet with Ray Perry , her late father.
In a statement ( via Blabbermouth ), Perry says: “I’m delighted to announce that I’ve just signed with George Harrison , Dark Horse Records. I have so much music inside me that hasn’t been heard yet. Being able to work with a team of people who support and respect my creative expression is a dream come true.”
Regarding the album, he says that he “always loved the magic present in Christmas songs” and that as a child, he enjoyed listening to them on the radio while his grandmother cooked. Steve also commented that listening to these songs brings back “wonderful memories” of that time of year.
The vocalist concludes: “The idea of recording a Christmas album started many years ago and has now transformed into my latest collection, The Season 3. I added six new tracks to this latest compilation, totaling 16. I hope this album brings you precious memories as well.”
An animated clip of "What a Wonderful World," featuring photos of the Perry family, was also released.
