The conversation was attended by Kastro Pergjoni, operations director of the Cart and Horses , venue for some of Maiden's first shows, and a friend of Di'Anno, responsible for fundraising campaigns to cover the vocalist's medical treatment.
On the pub's social media, Pergjoni said the conversation lasted an hour. "And in the end, the result was great. What an incredible human being he is. I will share more information soon, I hope," he said.
Journalist Wes Orshoski , who is working on a documentary about Di'Anno, was also present to record the moment. “Tonight, for the first time since the 1980s, Paul attended a Maiden concert. Just seeing him perform was incredible, with fans chanting 'Paul! Paul! Paul!' outside,” he narrated on social media. “But inside, before the show, Paul reunited with (…) Steve Harris and it was beautiful to see the hugs and smiles. I was lucky to be there; they hadn't seen each other in years.”
