In an interview with Eonmusic, Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris, currently touring with the British Lion project, spoke about the possibility of playing in smaller venues around the world. The bassist was asked about the differences between playing with Maiden and British Lion:

“It’s a different thing working with different people and in small venues, and that’s great for me because I don’t play small venues with Maiden anymore. I haven’t done small venue shows with Maiden for over 30 years so I really enjoy it. And I like going back to basics, with tour buses, meeting the fans, being close to the fans.”

The bassist was then asked about British Lion shows in other parts of the world:

“We were offered many things around the world that unfortunately I couldn’t do because of time constraints (…) I’m finding the time now, there are many countries in Europe that I would like to play in, as well as in South America and North America”
