Vocalist shares video
Grim Reaper frontman Steve Grimmett shared a video this week showing him walking for the first time since having his leg amputated. The vocalist now uses a prosthetic leg. Photo and video can be seen below.
Grimmett was hospitalized in Ecuador in January, where he had to have his leg amputated due to an infection. The musician has since suffered several complications, even having to undergo further surgery to amputate a larger part of his leg.
A group of musicians came together to contribute to Steve Grimmet's hospitalization costs, as his insurance did not cover the surgeries, and they raised over $16,000.
Last Thursday, Grimmett posted a photo of his prosthetic leg with the caption "loving my new leg!". Check it out below:
