Now, the group recounted the process of creating their second album and, of course, finding a new vocalist to replace Neil Turbin . In episode #4, the group described the first time they heard Joey Belladonna singing. “I got goosebumps. Look, I get goosebumps just remembering it,” recalled guitarist Dan Spitz , who was part of the band between 1983 and 1995 and then returned in 2005 to stay until 2007.

In episode #5, the band talks about the creative process behind Spreading the Disease , and Scott Ian , who started composing around that time, said that his inspirations were very diverse, since he had no experience in it. “Comics, Stephen King , baseball, and pizza, that’s what I knew. The social commentary came later. I wrote about what I knew,” he says.

“What did I know when I was 21? I knew comic books and Stephen King, horror (…) If you asked me what the best pizza in NY was, I would know how to tell you. So that was it. It seemed like the riffs explained to me what the music would be about.”

Episode #6, the last one about Anthrax's debut album, features several musicians and bandmates such as Andreas Kisser, Eddie Trunk, Nergal, Corey Taylor, Slash, Dave Mustaine, Gene Simmons and more, commenting on the work and what they felt when they first heard it.
