Steel Panther Lexxi Foxx 's replacement needs to meet certain musical requirements, such as technical knowledge of the instrument, but must also present a matching look.
In the announcement of Foxx's departure, the band's bassist since its formation, his colleagues had a concern. "While we may never find a bassist as handsome as Lexxi, it shouldn't be difficult to find one who matches his high intellect," they wrote in a humorous note published in July .
In their search for a new member, the Californians explained the requirements in a video. “Do you think you have what it takes? The looks, the sex appeal, the skill, and any outstanding arrest warrants, whether national or international?” the members asked. “We’ll watch all the videos and if you pass, we’ll get in touch.”.
On Steel Panther's official website , the instructions are also simple: the candidate can choose any song from the band's catalog for the audition and must also submit a video presentation explaining why they are perfect for the position.
