Steel Panther guitarist Russ “Satchel” Parrish has provided more details regarding bassist Lexxi Foxx , which was announced in May of this year.
2020'd podcast , the musician denied rumors of the band member's departure. “We didn't want him to leave, nobody wanted that, including many fans. I'm sure many are very sad about his leaving,” he said (via Blabbermouth ). “But he's the guy who left the band… I think he's dealing with his own issues and wanted to focus on that. So I don't know, I can't speak for Lexxi Foxx .”
After the serious moment passed, emphasizing that Foxx was not fired, Satchel spoke about the search for a new bassist. "We're going to move forward and find someone who is younger and bolder and doesn't need so much Botox," he said.
The band held public auditions for the bassist position in August . Among the requirements, Steel Panther cited "looks, sex appeal, skill, and any outstanding arrest warrants, whether domestic or international." The band's guitarist said that several candidates have already auditioned.
