The iconic industrial metal band Static-X, known for their heavy sound and striking performances, will make their Brazilian debut on their new tour, with the American group Dope as special guests. The show, which will take place in São Paulo on November 7th, promises to be an impactful sonic experience, celebrating decades of innovation and heavy metal. Static-X emerged in 1994 in Los Angeles and quickly rose to prominence with its unique blend of industrial, metal, and nu-metal. Led by Wayne Static , the band released the acclaimed album Wisconsin Death Trip , which achieved platinum status and defined the group's unmistakable style. With tracks like "Push It" and "I'm with Stupid," the album won over fans worldwide, solidifying the band's name in the metal scene. Even after Wayne's tragic loss in 2014, Static-X continues its mission, supported by Tony Campos (bass), Koichi Fukuda (guitar), Ken Jay (drums), and vocalist Xer0 , who carries on the band's legacy and pays tribute to Wayne.
Dope
Dope, formed in 1997 in New York, will bring their intense energy to the Brazilian stage, complementing the night with their blend of industrial and nu-metal. Known for hits like “Die MF Die” and “You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)”, the band Dope continues to inspire and energize audiences with their aggressive attitude and provocative lyrics. Led by Edsel Dope , the band has become a singular force within alternative metal, gaining a dedicated fanbase over the years.
