Spotify's discovery page may soon look quite similar to TikTok's layout. The streaming platform has launched a new discovery feed with vertical videos in the Northern Hemisphere that resembles the video app's "infinite scroll" model.

According to information from Olhar Digital , personalized recommendations will now be divided into the categories Music, Podcasts & Shows, and Audiobooks. Through the new feed, it will be possible to save, play from the beginning, share, and read transcripts of podcast episodes, and watch video episodes, for example.

Currently, all Spotify tabs end after displaying all the page content, but the new feed promises to continue providing content to users as they scroll down, as explained by Loudwire .

The homepage with album covers won't be completely banned, but autoplaying videos in the style of TikTok or Instagram Reels, as well as images promoting playlists or podcasts, will also be displayed below the familiar design.

In the words of The Verge of the update, "Spotify's new design is part TikTok, part Instagram, and part YouTube," also showing an editorial shift in the app towards producing more content instead of just offering music streaming.

The new layout is already available in the United States and Canada.
