Spotify posted a "President of Playlists" position on its job postings page, which appears to have been created exclusively for President Barack Obama.
The US president has already compiled two playlists for Spotify in the past, showing the world what he listens to. Now, according to an Instagram post about an ambassadors' dinner, the US president said he is looking forward to seeing his work on the platform, since his playlists were a success.
Spotify then posted the job opening. Here are some of the prerequisites for candidates for "President of Playlists":
"- Have at least eight years of government experience in a well-respected nation."
– Familiarity with the Spotify platform, with experience in programming playlists at the federal level.
– Having a good relationship with a wide network of artists and musicians. Has Kendrick Lamar ever played at your party? We'd love to hear about it!
– Knowing how to speak passionately about playlists at press events. Let's be clear: you must be one of the best public speakers of all time.
– Pay attention to detail and be consistent. Be able to work with other departments.
"Someone with team spirit, excellent work ethic, a friendly attitude, and a Nobel Peace Prize winner."
