Spiritbox returns with a heavy new single, “The Void”; listen now

The song had already been performed live by the group during their US tour

One of the leading new names in metal and alternative rock, the Canadian band Spiritbox returns with the single "The Void," which is already part of the setlist for their current sold-out US tour.

The heavy track was produced by Daniel Braunstein , who was responsible for the album Eternal Blue , and mixed by Zakk Cervini ( Bring Me The Horizon , All Time Low , Nine Inch Nails , Polyphia ).

“This was a song that came together very quickly. I didn’t have to suffer or struggle with anything to write it. It’s the kind of song I’ve been wanting to do for a while, I’ve listened to it thousands of times and every time I’m happy. It’s been incredible playing it live,” says vocalist Courtney LaPlante .

Spiritbox blends metal, post-metal, alternative, and progressive elements in their music. With three EPs and one album in their discography , the group seeks to address issues such as mental health in their compositions.

The new phase plans to continue a success story created by the album Eternal Blue , which established the band as one of the most intriguing names in new rock. From melancholy to madness, from despair to redemption, Spiritbox is a confirmed presence at European festivals such as Rock am Ring , Sweden Rock Festival and Graspop Metal Meeting . “The Void” is a Rise Records/BMG available on all music platforms.
