Canadian alternative metal band Spiritbox released their highly anticipated debut album, Eternal Blue , in September, and it had a great first week as a result.

The album soared on the Billboard 200, reaching number 13, behind only big names in pop such as Drake , Lil Nas X , Olivia Rodrigo , and Billie Eilish , in addition to reaching the number one position on the Top Rock Albums and Hard Rock Albums charts. The band also debuted at number 1 in the United States on Billboard Vinyl Record Sales chart.

Instagram post , Spiritbox commented on the massive debut. “Words cannot describe the emotions we feel seeing all the support for our album, Eternal Blue . Even though we don’t need awards to feel validated (and that’s not the reason we make music), we want to emphasize that your support is helping to put our small metal community on the map,” they wrote.

“We feel it’s important to draw attention to the power you, our supporters, have! While our name is what appears on the charts, it’s actually you who are behind it all. We can’t thank you enough.” Check out Eternal Blue , Spiritbox’s debut album:
