Serj Tankian , the vocalist of System Of A Down , received an invitation to participate in a new song by the Spanish YouTuber and drummer El Estepario Siberiano , along with his band The Cost . Tankian accepted the offer, and the collaboration resulted in an intense single.
Famous for his energetic drumming performances, Siberiano applied the same formula to the track titled “Her Eyes” — which perfectly complemented Serj Tankian's powerful vocals. The track also received a music video, published on YouTube – check it out at the end of this article. Siberiano stated that the money collected from the views will be donated to the NGO Save The Children .
The YouTuber commented on the opportunity to perform with one of his idols. "Not even in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that the universe would give me the chance to work with my favorite singer in the history of music."
In the video's comments, he also thanked his fans for the moment. “As much as I will be held onto this song for the rest of my days in this world, it would be arrogant not to be grateful to the people who made this possible: YOU. In both my successes and my failures, I found in you the courage and strength I needed to continue. You are not an audience, you are my family.”
