With over 20 years of experience, touring both in Brazil and abroad, and recordings that consistently garner praise and attention from specialized media, Desalmado is poised to release a brutal new album in the first half of 2025, blending their technical death metal with the intensity and aggression of hardcore.

The first preview is the music video for the new song “No Peace, Only Death”, released last Tuesday, the 25th. The streaming release will be on Friday, the 28th.

The music video for the new single was made with studio shots and outdoor footage filmed during a harsh winter in the American city of Charlottesville (in the state of Virginia). As vocalist Caio Augustus , "No Peace, Only Death" accurately represents the current Desalmado and its proposal to navigate between hardcore and death metal with a lot of heaviness.

The song deals with disillusionment with the current state of the world, addressing the decline of a hyper-connected society that is drowning in its suffering, often fueled by large technology corporations. This catastrophic context can lead individuals down tortuous paths, such as a living death in a virtual plane where everyone seeks avatars to appear as something they are not.

Solidification of the current structure

Preparations for the release of the new album, called Monopoly of Violence , also solidify the current lineup of Desalmado, which definitively features João Limeira on drums and Marcelo Liam as lead guitarist, joining forces with Caio Augustus (vocalist) and Bruno Teixeira (bassist).

Caio comments on the band's current moment: “It represents a new energy, a new stage for Desalmado, a band that has never given up on working hard, evolving, and building its image in a solid and credible way. The renewal of Desalmado in terms of sound is also an affirmation of a group that seeks to evolve incessantly.”
