The most aggressive roots of the experienced Brazilian band Desalmado emerge in their new album, Monopoly of Violence , released this Friday, the 2nd. The fourth recording from the São Paulo quartet features 10 tracks of brutal and technical death metal, packaged in a contemporary production.

Monopoly of Violence is the first recording from the new lineup, featuring João Limeira on drums and Marcelo Liam as lead guitarist, along with Caio Augustus on vocals and Bruno Teixeira on bass. The album was recorded at Family Mob studio, one of the most sought-after and well-equipped in Brazil, and mixed and mastered by Hugo Silva .

Lyrically, Desalmado offers a brutal interpretation of each member's individual present, while simultaneously providing a macro-level view of society. In this context, Monopoly of Violence is a collection of extremely heavy songs that showcase Desalmado's unique approach to purposeful death metal. The band continues to critique Western capitalist society and its oppressors, but is notable for its deeper exploration of the individual and emotional problems that permeate contemporary social relationships.

07/06 – Rio de Janeiro/RJ (Heavy Beer Bar)
