The album will be released in August.
Soulfly frontman Max Cavalera revealed in an interview that the band's new album is scheduled for release in August. The album, titled "Archangel," is their tenth studio album.
"It's practically finished. I need to finalize some of the vocals, mix it, and then we'll work on the artwork and everything else. It's looking great, I'm excited," said Cavalera. According to the vocalist, the album will be more experimental compared to the band's previous work.
Cavalera also spoke about his son Zyon, who plays drums in the band: “He recorded the drums, and he’s playing incredibly well. He reminds me of a young Dave Lombardo.”
“Archangel” is being produced by Matt Hyde, who has previously worked with Slayer and Children of Bodom.
