Soulfly announced the departure of longtime bassist Mike Leon .
The band released a statement on their social media thanking the bassist, who had been with the band for 10 years. The separation appears to have been amicable.
Soulfly Max Cavalera 's son , Igor Amadeus , for the May 3rd show, although no official replacement has been announced yet.
"After many years of working together, Soulfly is parting ways with bassist Mike Leon. The tribe will continue performing at the upcoming Nu Metal Revolution in Mexico City on May 3rd, with Igor Amadeus, from the bands Cavalera, Go Ahead and Die , and Healing Magic , filling in for him."

Mike Leon also commented: “After an incredible 10-year journey with Soulfly / Cavalera , it’s time to move on and pursue new opportunities. I am deeply grateful for the experiences, the music, and the relationships built along the way—it has been an honor to grow alongside such dedicated fans.”
