Finnish melodic metal band Sonata Arctica has announced that they will release an acoustic album. Titled Acoustic Adventures , the work will be divided into two parts, with the first part being released in October of this year and the second part next year.

“I hope you love these albums as much as we do. There are many, many songs that we had to leave out of these 'Volume One' and 'Volume Two' albums, so nothing would please me more than adding a few more volumes in the near future,” said Tony Kakko in a statement released to the press. He further added, “I look forward to seeing you on tour again as soon as possible!”

The tour following the album is titled Acoustic Adventures MMXXI and already has dates across Europe from October to December . Keyboardist Henrik “Henkka” Klingenberg commented: “As our Talviyö world tour is more or less finished, it’s time to look ahead to the next challenge and as we had so much fun with the acoustic material, we decided to make an album as well and of course we’ll hit the road immediately afterwards to celebrate its release.”

More information regarding the launch should be released soon.
