Vended , the band formed by the sons of Corey Taylor and Shawn “Clown” Crahan of Slipknot , made their Knotfest debut last Saturday, the 25th. The group is confirmed for Knotfest Brazil , which takes place in December 2022 .
In 2020, the band performed their first ever show in Des Moines , Slipknot's hometown, and now they're making their debut on the Knotfest stage – also in Iowa. Covered in paint, the group performed "Asylum," their debut single, and also played "Anti-Body," another original song, during the show.
Griffin Taylor follows in his father's footsteps on vocals, with an intense stage presence very similar to Corey's mannerisms, while Simon Crahan leads on drums, similar to his percussionist father. The band is completed by Cole Espeland and Connor Grodzicki on guitar and Jeramiah Pugh on bass.
At the end of the show, Corey Taylor went on stage to hug his son and show all the pride he was feeling. Watch the moment in the second video, starting at 3:22.
