Last October 10th was a sold-out night in Lisbon to see SOEN , on their tour promoting their new and acclaimed album Memorial , which will come to Brazil in April 2024.

Opening the show were the Italian band TERRA , who play a sound with progressive rock influences, lots of percussion and quite original arrangements, and whose drummer, Daniele Berreta , is also the lead vocalist, with the drums in the center and at the front of the stage. The reception from the audience, which was already filling the venue, was warm, and the band felt certain they had gained new fans.

Moly Baron 's turn to take the stage at LAV (Lisboa Ao Vivo), bringing songs from their latest work, "Something Ominous". With great riffs and an energetic performance, the band already has the experience and stature of a headlining act, showing that they weren't on this tour to play around. Playing songs like "Set Alight", "Animals" and "Lucifer" and keeping the energy high, it was hard to imagine a more competent opening act for Soen. By this point, the venue was packed, with the audience engaged and responding to the commands of vocalist Gary Kelly . Excellent band!

But the night truly belonged to Soen: from the first notes of “Sincere” to the encore with “Antagonist,” “Jinn,” and “Violence,” the band seemed unshakeable. Martin Lopez Cody Ford 's riffs Joel Ekelöf 's vocals take center stage and make the band stand out, with unparalleled originality and identity. LAV seemed small as the band performed songs like “Memorial,” which saw great audience participation, “Fortress,” and “Modesty,” some of the highlights of the night.

Don't miss the tour that will pass through Brazil on April 14, 2024 at Carioca Club in São Paulo. It's your chance to see Soen at an excellent point in their career, with a string of releases acclaimed by critics and fans alike!
