Social Asphyxia: Brazilian band announces European tour in July.

The São Paulo-based group will perform 19 shows across four European countries until August

The Brazilian band Asfixia Social has announced a 19-show tour of Europe between July and August of this year, with performances in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, and France.

Formed by Kaneda Mukhtar (vocals, trumpet and trombone), Rafael Santos (guitar and vocals), Leonardo Oliveira (bass and vocals), Marcelo Sampaio (guitar and vocals) and Rodrigo Silva (drums), the São Paulo-based group performs a repertoire with political and socially conscious lyrics, such as the recently released "Revelação" and "Censura Não 2021" , a forceful protest against the government.

Last August, Asfixia Social captured the band's on-stage chemistry on a live album recorded at Estúdio Showlivre , showcasing their powerful sound, a blend of rock, rap, funk, ska, and Brazilian music.

The band finished a series of shows in different cities in São Paulo last Sunday, the 24th, with two new dates announced for May: May 1st at the Coletivo Rock ABC and May 21st at a performance at Hangar 110.
