The Super Bowl Music Fest, taking place in Miami on January 31st, will feature a rather unusual lineup with rapper Snoop Dogg opening for Guns N' Roses .
The announcement was made via the band's Instagram, welcoming the rapper:
"Miami, we're bringing Snoop Dogg as a special guest to the Super Bowl Music Fest. See you on the 31st."
Aerosmith headlined . The idea behind the show is to promote the NFL Super Bowl, the final of the American football championship, through music.
The final game will take place on February 2nd at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, and the finalists will be determined next weekend.
