Smith/Kotzen project Iron Maiden guitarist Adrian Smith and The Winery Dogs Richie Kotzen , is back. The duo announced they will be releasing their second album.
Titled Better Days… And Nights , the album will be released on September 16th and will feature previously unreleased tracks recorded in the studio and others recorded live. The unreleased tracks were written by the duo and mixed by Kevin Shirley . The live tracks were produced and mixed by Kotzen and Smith.
To celebrate the announcement, the duo released the single "Hate & Love," which came with an official video. The production was directed by Ryan Titley and can be watched at the end of this article.
The duo recorded the tracks live during their inaugural tour in the United States and the United Kingdom in early 2022, which was accompanied by bassist Julia Lage and drummer Bruno Valverde.
The Smith/Kotzen project released its debut album on March 26, 2021. The self-titled album was also released by BMG.
