Adrian Smith and Richie Kotzen , with the project Smith/Kotzen, have released "Black Light," the second single from their highly anticipated second album, also titled "Black Light," scheduled for release on April 4th.

The track was accompanied by a video featuring the duo alongside bassist Julia Lage and drummer Bruno Valverde , as well as renowned Russian acrobat and former Cirque du Soleil performer, Gyulnara Karaeva.

According to a statement released to the press, "Black Light" deals with deception and misunderstanding, where the black light is a metaphor that reveals the truth hidden beneath the surface.

“Smith/Kotzen is about finding common ground,” Richie commented in the statement. “Maybe Adrian tends to go for the heavier side, and I lean more towards fusion, funk or soul, but our sound is somewhere in the middle: that heavy blues rock vibe that we really connect with.”
