In the Q&A session following Smith/Kotzen's acoustic set, fans in attendance at the Grammy Theater were able to ask the musicians questions on a variety of topics, including their influences, special moments in their careers, and other subjects.
One of the highlights was Smith's response when revealing which car he bought with his first royalty check. (via Blabbermouth )
“I’m not much of a car fan, but I bought a Jaguar E-Type – a roadster, which was rubbish. I’ve forgotten which tour it was, because it was a few tours before we started making real money. [The management said, 'Well, you’re going home. What do you want?' We’d been on the road for a year or so, and to get back to England, you needed a car. I said, 'Any kind? A roadster,' because I had a toy one when I was a kid. I didn’t know anything about them and I didn’t know that these things needed a lot of care and attention.”
