The new material is almost ready.

The Smashing Pumpkins recently announced that they will be reuniting with their almost complete classic lineup for a tour in the United States.

While the band isn't on tour, vocalist Billy Corgan revealed that everyone is in the studio working on new material with producer Rick Rubin. The album will be the first with Jimmy Chamberlin and James Iha back together since Machina , which was released in 2000.

Now, Corgan has revealed on his official Instagram that the band already has eight unreleased tracks and took the opportunity to confirm that he is working on his new solo album, the successor to Ogilala (2017).

Shiny And Oh So Bright tour will begin in July and D'arcy Wretzky will be on the lineup. Check out the tracklist released by the vocalist below:
