Slipknot with NSYNC*? On the internet, metal becomes pop

Just when we think we've seen it all on the internet, we unexpectedly find a mashup of two completely different bands

Slipknot mixed with NSYNC* ? Just when we thought we'd seen it all on the internet, we unexpectedly found a mashup of two completely different bands. DJ Cummerbund created an excellent piece by fusing Slipknot's "Before I Forget" and NSYNC's "Pop," which he titled "Before I Pop."

What's surprising isn't just the blend of smooth vocals, but the other influences used to make this version work. The Rolling Stones, Merry Clayton , and wrestler Randy "Macho Man" Savage all make appearances, making it even more unusual.

In the description, the DJ states that he made it because the world doesn't have many Slipknot/pop mixes. The idea came about precisely for that reason. He also thanks the members of NSYNC* for their creative contributions.

For those who already follow mashup channels, they are probably familiar with the DJ's work on YouTube. Some videos with eccentric mixes that worked are: Beyoncé with Rammstein and the recent one of Nirvana , Lynyrd Skynyrd and Lil Nas X , and many others.

While you're watching the NSYNC* version, Slipknot is working on the music video for "Nero Forte" from the album We Are Not Your Kind . Check out the mashup below.
