Slipknot: Clown would like to play all seven of the band's albums live in their entirety.

The percussionist would like to play one album a day for a week.

In an interview with Kerrang!, Shawn “Clown” Crahan commented on the possible future of Slipknot in terms of touring.

According to the percussionist, the band will eventually have to change the rhythm of their live performances. With vocalist Corey Taylor approaching 50 and Shawn (better known as Clown) about to turn 54, it's natural that some things will change in Slipknot's routine.

“I can promise that we won’t tour the way we used to. If we keep pushing ourselves like that, I don’t think we’ll be able to keep up the pace,” he reflects.

On the other hand, something that seems to interest Clown is the possibility of playing all of Slipknot's albums in their entirety – one per night.

“I can imagine smaller arenas with more dates,” he says. “Wouldn’t it be great if we had seven days in New York or London or anywhere, in a reasonably sized arena, and played every album in its entirety? With intros, costumes, production, and everything from that era? That would be cool.”

"There are some songs we've never played live, places we've never been. That's unacceptable!" he concludes.

Recently, Corey Taylor commented that there's probably one song Slipknot would never play live . The track in question is "Gematria (The Killing Name)," from the album All Hope Is Gone (2008). Despite having a personal preference for the song, Taylor says his bandmates don't feel the same way.

“[The reasons] aren’t even sentimental. It’s resentment. But, for me, man, it’s fucking explosive and I love this song. I could listen to this shit all day,” he comments. “But it’s never going to happen. Unless the Pope opens for Slipknot someday, it’s never going to happen.”
