Slipknot posts teaser of terrifying vocals straight from the studio

It's only been a month since Corey Taylor shared a photo in the studio declaring that he's back recording for the new album. With the August 9th release approaching, the band posted a teaser of a vocal recording session.

The one-minute video, shared on Twitter, shows distorted and slowed-down images and vocals. At 28 seconds, text appears on the screen: “SMPTE UNIVERSAL LEADER,” although it is unclear what this means.

While we wait for the new Slipknot , we have new work from Corey Taylor . He made a guest appearance on the new track "Stuck In My Ways" by rapper Kid Bookie .
