Slipknot: Sid Wilson swaps his mask but uses his old one to "sing" during shows.

With the band changing masks in this new phase, the DJ didn't want to part with his own.

With each new cycle, Slipknot changes their look, swapping out their masks or making alterations to old ones. This time, when announcing the album The End, So Far, DJ Sid Wilson changed his mask, while Michael Pfaff made his more frightening and Shawn “Clown” Crahan made his shinier.

However, Sid didn't want to discard his mask and has been using it as a spooky memento. In the band's most recent shows in Europe, he attached the old mask to the set and created a mechanism where the mask follows Corey Taylor's singing. At the end of this article you will find a video showing the spooky performance.

In the music video for "The Dying Song ," which accompanied the announcement of the new album, Sid already appears with the new mask while holding the old one, showing it to the camera.

The successor to We Are Not Your Kind (2019) arrives on September 30th, and here we tell you everything we know about the release so far. As part of the new tour, Slipknot has confirmed dates in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, at the inaugural edition of the Knotfest festival, on the 15th and 18th respectively.
