While Slipknot prepares to release a new album full of unreleased songs, Corey Taylor confirmed that some of the band's older classics will be played live during the Knotfest Roadshow .

According to information from Kerrang!, the vocalist revealed the information during a Q&A session at the Mad Monster Party and promised songs that the audience has been requesting "for a long time".

“Let me tell you something: you’re going to see some songs that haven’t been played live in a really long time. I just revamped our set and we’re going to dust off some things and bring in not only some old-school stuff, but also things that people have been asking for for a long time. I’m going to make them play them,” revealed Corey Taylor.

According to drummer Jay Weinberg , the new Slipknot album will feature a choir and showcase "a more experimental side" of the band. According to Corey Taylor himself, the album should be finished within three months.
