Slipknot stirred up fans again this Tuesday, July 1st. As pointed out by a fan on Slipknot's Reddit [via Loudwire ], the band's old website, youcantkillme.com , now redirects to another mysterious site: 742617000027.net .
The website's homepage reads, "Worse for forward than backward," and there's a text box to type a password, along with an "Enter" button. Upon typing the band's name, the phrase "You have nothing to contribute, so stay away" immediately appears. And a strange noise begins to play.
Soon after, another fan on Reddit discovered a way to access more information and unravel the mystery. He typed “comeplaydying” into the text box, and upon doing so, a pop-up appeared on the page with the following message:
"Intrusion detected. You are being watched."
By continuing, you agree that:
Your actions will be tracked.
Your data will be collected.
And your identity will be tagged for future contact.
You also agree to immediate ownership and full responsibility for the contents of the box — should she find you.”

What is Slipknot preparing?
After agreeing to the pop-up, the page opens a countdown, which ends on July 21st, with music playing in the background. The curious thing is the image, a photo of the band from the IOWA era, featuring deceased members Joey Jordison and Paul Gray , as well as former members Chris Fehn and Craig Jones .
Fans began speculating about what the band is preparing. One fan suggested a commemorative box set celebrating the 25th anniversary of the band's release, Slipknot (1999), considering that the website's name is a tribute to the album's opening instrumental track. Furthermore, another fan noted that "Come play dying" is the phrase that appears on the Digipak versions of the Slipknot released at the time.
Last April, the band launched the website youcantkillme.com to announce the intimate show, as well as to kick off their 25th anniversary tour.
