Slipknot drummer Jay Weinberg Maren Alford 's cover of "Unsainted," he invited her over to meet him.
Weinberg recently made headlines when he recreated a photo of himself with his father meeting Slipknot as a child. He would become a masked member, replacing Joey Jordison in 2014.
Meanwhile, Alford went viral with his impressive cover of "Unsainted" on YouTube.
The two met last Saturday in Texas after the band's show. She wrote on Facebook, "Best day of my life with Jay Weinberg in Dallas! He's not only a monster behind the drum kit, but also an encouraging, caring, and generous guy!"
She added, “It was truly a dream come true to meet and spend time with him. The Slipknot show was incredible! Thank you so much for everything, Jay – you’re the best.”.
