Slipknot has revealed the official release date for their highly anticipated "lost" album, Look Outside Your Window.
Initially, the album only had a limited physical run, in a special edition for Record Store Day 2026.Now , according to the Instagram page of the Look Outside Your Window project , the album will be available in six new vinyl and CD variants, with a release date of June 12th.
The album is a collection of unreleased songs recorded by four members of the band during the sessions for their 2008 album, All Hope Is Gone. However, only one track from those sessions has been released until now, “'Til We Die”. Now, 15 years later, the album has been officially released.
Only four members participated: Corey Taylor, Jim Root, Shawn Crahan , and Sid Wilson. They created the project in parallel, with total freedom to experiment with sounds and ideas. Unlike the band's aggressive style, the work focuses on softer melodies and atmospheres. With 10 tracks, the project also features vocalist Cristina Scabbia, from Lacuna Coil, on "Is Real" and "Cristina".
