Slipknot used social media to finally reveal the identity of the member known as Tortilla Man .

Many fans already suspected that the percussionist would be multi-instrumentalist Michael Pfaff , but the mystery was kept by the Slipknot members until today, the 16th, as they prepare to begin a tour with the Knotfest Roadshow, the band's traveling festival.

The revelation came via a photo of the member holding a sign with his name and the date of the reveal, along with a sign for fans to click on a Reddit link , where he reveals his identity and opens a discussion forum for fans.

Tortilla Man joined Slipknot in May 2019, when he was first introduced in the video for “Unsainted .” Since then, there has been much speculation about his identity. In February 2020, several photos were posted on the Facebook account of Postojna Cave Park , a hotel and cave complex in Slovenia, supporting the theory that Pfaff was Tortilla Man.

The internet already suspected the identity of the Tortilla Man, since guitarist Jim Root had said that "Tortilla" was a "first-class pianist." Fans linked this information to Pfaff, Shawn "Clown's" in Dirty Little Rabbits , where he played keyboards and organ.
