Slipknot updated their official website and Facebook page with images and sounds from their upcoming album, expected in the second half of the year. A short teaser video for the new album was posted on Facebook, but was quickly taken down by the band. The video was later made available on YouTube and can be seen below.
According to Corey Taylor, the album is 98% complete and in the mixing phase. Rumors indicate that Slipknot is currently working with drummer Jay Weinberg, son of Max Weinberg, drummer for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.
