This January, Slipknot kicked off their European tour to promote the album We Are Not Your Kind . There, the group performed their recent singles "Nero Forte" and "Birth of the Cruel" for the first time.
“Well, my friends, I want to warn you: forget everything you’ve heard so far. Today, you’re in for a lot of surprises,” said vocalist Corey Taylor before launching into “Nero Forte.” The track was the fourth on the setlist for the show that took place in Dublin on the 14th.
“Birth of the Cruel” was also on the setlist alongside “Unsainted” and “Solway Firth,” songs from We Are Not Your Kind that the band had already performed live.
