Slipknot receives three Platinum certifications

Slipknot: Three singles certified Platinum in the US

“Snuff”, “Before I Forget” and “Wait And Bleed” have been certified Platinum

Slipknot singles have been certified Platinum (one million units; each unit is a download or 150 streams). The Recording Industry Association of America certified the band Platinum for the first time. These singles are: “Snuff”, “Before I Forget”, and “Wait and Bleed”.

"Snuff" is part of the album All Hope Is Gone . It was the band's first single after Paul Gray and the departure of drummer Joey Jordison . During recent acoustic solo shows, Corey Taylor has played a version of the track as a tribute to Paul Gray.

"Before I Forget" was featured on the album Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses) . It won the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 2006.

"Wait And Bleed" originally appeared on their self-titled 1999 debut album. It earned a Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance in 2011, but lost to Deftones .
