After optimistic comments about the completion of Slipknot , Corey Taylor officially confirmed that the album will be released in 2022.
In a tweet, the singer expressed his excitement about his projects, which include not only Slipknot, but also the release of a solo album and his work on the film Zombie Versus Ninja .
Taylor wrote on her Twitter : “Big things coming, 2022 version: news about ZvN , SK album, secret homecoming plans , etc. Stay tuned! 'Hold your butts together' – Franklin D. Roosevelt ”
For months Slipknot has been preparing for the release of their new album, having released the unreleased track " The Chapeltown Rag " in November and unveiled their new masks. In July, Corey Taylor described the album as "insane" and "liberating" and promised tracks worthy of a mosh pit .
Slipknot is scheduled to visit Brazil in December with Knotfest , which will feature bands such as Bring Me The Horizon, Mr. Bungle, Trivium, Sepultura, Motionless In White, Vended , and Project46 .
