Slipknot has been exciting fans with statements about their new album, which to arrive sometime in 2021 and is considered by Clown to be "music of the gods . Corey Taylor also confirmed that the band is working on new masks and assured fans that his is so scary that even his wife doesn't like to look at it too much.

In a recent interview , Clown gave even more details about Slipknot's music and revealed that the band has a song written in tribute to bassist Paul Gray , who passed away in 2010 due to an overdose.

“We have a song we wrote for Paul Gray called 'Without the Gray,' and it’s probably my fault, but we held onto it for so long. I don’t know why,” the musician said. “It was written right after it happened, and it felt like it needed to be more for us than for everyone else. And now I don’t care; I want it to be for everyone instead of just us.”

Clown also commented that Slipknot hopes to have the album finished by the end of July and that this may be the band's last album with Roadrunner Records.
