Slipknot: Knotfest Japan is postponed to 2022; learn more

The festival, postponed for the second time due to the pandemic, will now take place on April 9th ​​and 10th, 2022

The pandemic doesn't seem to want to leave anyone in peace: Knofest Japan , a festival curated and led by Slipknot , has been postponed for the second time, and will now only take place in 2022.

"As a result of the ongoing situation with the coronavirus mandates in Japan and around the world, after intense discussions with the Knotfest organizers and Slipknot's concern for the safety of fans, artists, staff and everyone involved, we regret to announce the postponement of Knotfest Japan 2020 scheduled for January 10, 2021 and January 11, 2021 at Makuhari Messe," the official announcement states.

“We understand that a second postponement is difficult news. Slipknot, its management, and our entire team sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused to fans who were looking forward to the event. The new dates for the shows are as follows: Knotfest Japan 2022 Roadshow: April 9 (Saturday), 2022 / Festival: April 10 (Sunday), 2022 Location: Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall 9-11,” the statement also reinforces that tickets purchased for the two original dates of the event will also be valid for 2022, and advises fans who will not be able to attend the festival or who have decided on a refund.
