The backlash forced the vocalist to explain the situation, saying that We Are Not Your Kind , scheduled for August 9th, will also have Vol. 3 moments, but also “crushing WANYK (We Are Not Your Kind) ”. Now, guitarist Jim Root has spoken about the matter .
“I wouldn’t compare in a million years something we’re doing with something we’ve already done. I don’t believe in that. I think it’s bad (…) We’re not those people from Iowa anymore, we’re not that band anymore,” he said during an interview with Kerrang! Radio at the Download Festival.
