Slipknot has been announced as the new headliner , which will take place between July 30th and August 1st in Germany.

The band will play for the first time at the legendary festival, which will celebrate its 30th anniversary in this new edition. In a press release, the event organizers commented on their happiness in bringing the group to the special edition: “We are very proud to finally welcome this important band and fulfill one of our fans' greatest wishes… We are eagerly awaiting an extraordinary performance.”

In addition to Slipknot, the 2020 edition of Wacken will feature Judas Priest, Amon Amarth, At the Gates, Venom, Hypocrisy, Annihilator, Overkill, and the Brazilian band Nervosa . The group will perform at the event as part of their We Are Not Your Kind , promoting the album released in August of this year.
