People fainted and fell during the mosh pit at the Slipknot show
Slipknot the 27th in California. The mosh pit became violent and people started feeling sick and fainting.
Between songs, Corey Taylor asked fans to give him more space and said, "Nobody's going to get hurt while I'm here, understand?"
Reddit user , fans were "trampled and started having seizures." Then, Corey Taylor got angry, "because nobody stopped to let the medics in."
One of the fans described the situation:
The beginning of the show was insane. During the biggest push in the first song, a guy fell next to me and passed out face-first on the floor.
Every time I pushed as hard as I could to find a space, it was instantly occupied by people again, and I was pushed on top of the guy too. I was seriously worried that this guy might die there. I'm quite large, and luckily there was another huge guy next to me, but even so, it took both of us giving it our all for about a minute, and the guy was limping, then getting up, then falling again, etc. The whole time he was disoriented, saying, 'Help me, please, help me, please.'
When we managed to lift him, he was still unconscious and almost fell several times. Getting that guy from the front of the stage to the back of the venue was difficult, but we saved him.
"There were probably other people in the same situation; it was seriously dangerous at first, but it seems everyone got home safe and sound, so I was surprised."
