The return of live shows after almost two years has everyone excited, but some Slipknot went too far. Last Tuesday, the 2nd, the band performed at an amphitheater in Phoenix, Arizona, and had to pause the performance for 30 minutes so that a giant bonfire could be extinguished in the audience.
According to Loudwire , the crowd was singing "Happy Birthday" to guitarist Mick Thomson shortly before the bonfire was lit. The huge bonfire was lit on the lawn and the flames reached almost 10 meters high. So far, no one has reported injuries.
Due to the dangerous incident, Slipknot had to leave some songs out of the end of their setlist, such as "Duality" and "Spit It Out". Videos and photos from fans were shared on social media while the fire burned and the crowd enjoyed "All Out Life". Check it out:
